Highway 24 is the modern, paved route, running East to West between 100 Mile House in the South Cariboo (atop of the Fraser Plateau) and Little Fort in the Thompson River Valley in British Columbia. This route remains practically the same route that the fur traders used centuries ago; parts of the Hudson’s Bay Fur Brigade Trail can still be seen near the East end of the highway and is permanently preserved as a “heritage trail”.
Green lake gets its name from the low outflow and shallow warm water that create a green tint over the surface of the water. The lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout.
The Bridge Lake Provincial Park has over 560 acres of shoreline and includes spacious areas for picnics. Our many breathtaking hikes provide an unforgettable experience for all.
