Sheridan Lake Resort is only an 8-hour drive from Seattle or 5 ½ hours from Vancouver. It is located in the heart of British Columbia’s picturesque Cariboo Country on BC’s famous “Fishing Highway” Hwy #24. It is a scenic paved road that traverses the InterLakes area between Lone Butte in the west and Little Fort in the east. Traveling through aspen forests past dozens of productive lakes, this region is renowned among anglers for it’s rainbow trout and it’s vacation and recreational opportunities. Sheridan Lake is 1659-hectares (4098 acres) and spring fed, with miles of shoreline and shoals. It is well stocked, 300,000 annually, many reaching trophy size.
Access is by Hwy 24, 35km (22mi) east of 93 Mile House (off Hwy 97, just south of the community of 100 Mile House). Turn right at the Sheridan Lake Store onto Magnussen Road. If coming in from Kamloops, take the Yellowhead (Hwy 5) to Little Fort, then head west on Hwy 24 for 68km (41mi)
FYI: If you are coming to Canada, the border requires a picture ID and Birth Certificate. Boating licenses pertain to Canadians only.
Fishing for Monster Trout
